Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Telecommunications Laboratory - Radar and Microwaves Unit (AUTH - Telecom/RF) AUTH - Telecom/RF specializes in advanced techniques for the analysis, design, fabrication and experimental characterization of RF and microwave circuits and components, antennas and functional surfaces for advanced wireless communications, including absorbing metasurfaces. Research interests include both the development of fast methods for the electromagnetic analysis and design of complex structures and components and accurate techniques for their experimental assessment. The Unit features an in-house anechoic chamber, equipped with an arch positioner for radar cross-section (RCS) measurements and a set of high-end measuring instrumentation, including network analyzers (up to 65 GHz) spectrum/signal analyzers (up to 110 GHz), microwave generators, antennas, RF components and several fabrication facilities.
